1. Uber goes lite! If you have ever been stranded because of low connectivity issues, well Uber has some good news for you. The cab aggregator app has launched Uber lite which will work even on 2G connectivity and just takes up 5MB storage.

2. Nothing seems to be going the right way for cryptocurrency fans. Apple has now banned cryptocurrency mining on the iPhone and iPad.

3. Solar companies are rising steadily. Tata Power is all set to build a 150MW solar plant in Maharashtra after it bagged a contract with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.

4. Innovation is on the right track. Indian Railways has installed an automatic food vending machine on-board a running train, which can be operated with a tablet. Travellers onboard the Coimbatore-Bengaluru UDAY Express can enjoy the benefits.
