1. Alibaba hits a jackpot. Breaking last year's record, the Chinese e-commerce giant has earned $24.3 billion by the midday of their annual sale Singles' Day.

2. World's largest supercomputer is now on. Designed to function like a human brain, SpiNNaker was in construction in The University of Manchester since 2006.

3. TikTok has a new competitor in town. Facebook has launched a video app called Lasso that allows users to make and share short-format videos with filters and special effects.

4. Visa & Mastercard's might be taxed soon. According to reports, global payment companies may have to pay 15% of their India income to RBI.
